All of our products are in compliance with European Regulation EC 1935/2004 and EEC Regulation, which means that they are produced in a safe and hygienic way.
Our paper straws are carefully produced using certified paper and glue that is specifically designed for food and drink packaging, ensuring that the straws have a neutral odour and taste.
The paper we use for paper straw production is 100% biodegradable and compostable. It is tested and fulfills requirements according to DIN EN 13432:2000-12 norm.
Our paper straws are packed in BOPP film. This film is environmentally friendly, even though it is not biodegradable. It can actually be recycled many times over while still maintaining its value.
Our paper straws are manufactured from a single facility in Zagreb, Croatia, EU. FSC-certified paper and glue specifically designed for paper straws, as well as raw materials we use in production, are of EU origin!
Charta straws are extremely durable and long-lasting. They are suitable for all cold drinks and are tested in liquid for more than four hours. In reality, they last even longer for maximum enjoyment!
